GAIATREE- Importance in West and East
"Gaia" comes from the Greek-speaking world and means "mother". In conjunction with the "Tree", our Gaiatree is a symbol for all life on earth, for growth and stability. The children around him shall grow up in love. On our campus we have a wonderful Neem tree. For us, this is the place for our GAIATREE.
The meaning in the East - in India - is a different one. In India there are several meanings. Gayatri designates the partner of god Brahma, the preserver of the world.
All children and adults know the Gayatri Mantra as the life-giving mantra, as the "mother of the Vedas."
